Candidates must possess bachelor degree in any one of the subjects – Economics, Mathematics & Statistics from any recognized board [Note – If any candidates who had bachelor degree but having optional subjects like Economics, Mathematics & Statistics are also eligible to apply for the said post]

Modes of selection in details :-

The selection of the candidates in this exam is based on three process :- I) Preliminary exam II) Mains Exam & III) Merit list.

Merit calculation for the selection given below [Total Marks 100]:-

• Written exam composed of 150 Multiple choice questions (MCQs) – Total Marks – 75 (0.25 negative marking)
  • Details of written exam – [Obtained marks x 0.75] [Duration of exam 2 hours 15 min] [Hindi/English medium]
• Minimum Qualifying marks for different categories are stated below :
  • General category – 40%
  • BC category – 36.5%
  • EBC,ST,SC, Women & PWD – 32%
• For Experienced – 5 marks awarded for every year completed in government statistical position [Maximum 25 marks]

• Then click on the advertisement titled as “Important notice for Adv No.01/25 post – block statistical officer/sub statistical officer – 11.03.2025”.
• Download the advertisement & read carefully about the application process, age criteria, important dates & others important details regarding the exam.
• After reading the notification carefully, click on the “apply online/registration” to register your candidature ship.
